Hello! My name is BooMie! I love music and reading, and in my spare time, I write! I've visited Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Canada in addition to my home country of the United States. I currently stay in Vietnam with my two pet cats. I look forward to meeting you! I focus on comprehensible input and building the confidence that will inspire fluency. I've been working teaching language tutoring from pre-school to adults for 9 years. I've helped tutor college students and beginner language students alike. I'm up to any challenge! I like to use a conversational approach that allows students (like you!) to practice without pressure. Using limited vocabulary to express oneself allows for improvements as we search for the right words together. This is supported by checks of understanding in the exercises we do in class together. I'm here with you every step of the way. I know just how frustrating it can be to learn a new language, and want to encourage you cheerfully while helping you succeed. Checks and guided questions to explore the content of the class help solidify those new words and structures as we learn them.
