Hello, my name is Katherine, nice to meet you!
I have been teaching Spanish for 3 years and I make content for social networks with a channel of more than 220.000 followers where we talk about history and culture of Latin American countries.
I was born in Venezuela, I live on the beach, in a coastal state, full of beautiful landscapes, beautiful sunsets, colorful streets and a lot of culture and history. I love learning about folklore, traditions, gastronomy and popular expressions, as well as sharing all those aspects of my country.
So during our classes every day you will learn something new and you will never get bored because we can integrate all these activities into your lessonsعني كمعلّم
I love linguistics, the language, the different currents of the language, and I wanted to specialize in this field to transmit and share my knowledge with other people from all over the world.
I started working as a private tutor in 2020, helping children from my country to learn to read and improve their writing in Spanish. Months later, realizing how much I like teaching my mother tongue, I decided to expand my classes to more people in all corners of the world, I began to prepare and improve every day to teach Spanish as a foreign language. My goal is always to offer quality classes where you can learn the language in a fun and dynamic way through a communicative and conversational approach, so in each class you will improve your fluency, pronunciation and learn new vocabulary.
I know that learning a new language can be complicated, that's why I'm going to create personalized sessions for you, adapted to your level and interests, where you can learn Spanish according to your tastes and needs. A language is not only studied, it is also thought, then you will learn to reason the language. Learn at your own pace, slowly but surely, and enjoy delving into the language. Katherine makes learning fun. She mixes culture with current events and real life experiences. It is like talking to an old friend. I feel that I am progressing and I look forward to the classes. In the small time I have spent I feel more comfortable talking to others in Spanish.

Katherine is the perfect mix of casual and professional. Of course to learn Spanish, at some point you have to speak it! She does a great job of helping with everyday conversational Spanish as well as specific focuses/goals. I was visiting my partner's family who only speak Spanish, so I wanted to be able to answer / ask basic conversational questions. I also wanted to ask for their blessing for my partner's hand in marriage :). Both were successful thanks to Katherine! Now my goal is to do a more "classroom" approach and study grammar, which she is more than prepared to do with textbooks and a curriculum to follow. I came into my lessons with a few years of Spanish from school and now feel like my learning is going faster than before. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10.
