Hi! This is Marina, and I live where I am from, Barcelona. I am passionate about cuisine, teaching, history, art, learning languages, culture, books,... Everything that comes with creativity, or telling stories. I think people can have amazing backgrounds and stories, and I'm always pleased about listening to them. Apart from being a teacher, I am a graduate on Tourism, specialised on Tour Guiding. So, I hope I'll teach everything I know about my country and specially, my city!
Also I am really into psychology and mental health. I like to read and watch videos about personal growth.

I think most important thing while learning is mantaining attention and motivation of the student. I am a close person, but also professional. I like to have a follow-up about what my students are doing and, most importantly, being behind them supporting them. My method is based mostly in oral part. Talking and understanding the language, also gramatics, are really important. In languages there is no part more important than the other, it's just an ensemble of capacities and habilities that make that we could master this language and be able to communicate.

Marina is a fun and engaging teacher. She explains any question I have and is always ready to teach me about catalan culture and customs. She is also very patient and corrects my errors. Would recommend booking a class with her!!

Lessons with Marina is so much fun, she is so knowledgeable. And what I find unique about lessons with her is how she explains how things are said/used in real life too when explaining an academic concept.

Marina is an awesome person and teacher. She adapts the class according to your needs and also what you like to talk about, and what you prefer and would like to do!
Since the first class I mentioned my intentions and why I would like to learn it.
The time we spent together are really fun, and I can learn with music, and videos, I highly recommend and always look forward to the next class. 10/10
