I am a very laid-back teacher who enjoys teaching Japanese.
It is not necessary to be nervous or shy to speak. You can always try using new words and phrases with my lesson, before trying in every day life. Use my lesson as a trial.

My lesson is going to be mostly Free talk. You can talk anything you like. However, if you do not have any ideas, I would like to start the conversation.
To better understand each other, the first lesson would be to take the time to get to know one another. In particular, I would love to know more about you, such as your Japanese skill and aim.

Amazing as always - we've covered so many really interesting topics together in all our lessons which I've never seen in any textbooks; we've talked about lighthearted things like small talk, how our weekends have been, music and movies, but also more complicated topics like the pandemic, discrimination, and so much more. I pick up so much real-world vocabulary and it's really helping me improve my confidence. Thank you Shoko-sensei for your endless patience as I try to describe things when I don't have the words!

I had another really fun lesson with Shoko-sensei! Today I learnt how to introduce myself in the most natural way, which I plan to use at work when I meet my new coworkers! I'm glad I can just chat about anything with Shoko-sensei after a long day of work without feeling too stressed out :) Thanks for another great lesson! Looking forward to the next one~
