Hello! I’m Akari. こんにちは！私の名前はあかりです。italkiで日本語と英語を教えています。 I’m native Japanese speaker and online Japanese teacher. Until now, I’ve taught over 3,000 Japanese lessons for 500 students since April 2013. My lesson is suitable for working professional, entrepreneur, or students who love Japanese culture, history, or willing to traveling to Japan. あかり先生は素晴らしい先生です。Akari-sensei is an exceptional teacher. Extremely knowledgeable, but also down to earth and patient. I appreciate the mix of textbook instruction with casual conversation. I also really respect her business hustle with her airbnb tours. And I hope to take one of her tours one day when she's not escaping from the Kyoto hot summers haha. Overall, make sure to book a lesson with her. 全体的に、本当に頭が良くてやさしい人です。

Needed proofreading done and Akari was supremely helpful. I was immediately relieved that I chose her for this, as it’s clear she is skillful in professional writing. She helped me articulate things I was struggling to even say in my own language. I recommend her if you need language advice for something important! I will definitely be requesting her again!
