I'm a native Turkish speaker, a university lecturer, and a professional tutor with a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Since 2018, I’ve helped adult learners from around the world—mostly beginners—learn Turkish for travel, cultural curiosity, personal relationships, or career goals. I have experience teaching both English and Arabic native speakers, particularly students from Saudi Arabia, the U.S., and the U.K. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and shaping lessons around what truly matters to them. My goal is to make each class clear, relevant, and enjoyable, so you always feel supported and motivated on your journey.عني كمعلّم
I’m an encouraging and upbeat teacher who believes language learning should feel exciting—not stressful. I do my best to create a safe, relaxed space where students feel confident speaking, making mistakes, and enjoying the process. My lessons are shaped around your goals, learning style, and interests—whether you want to improve conversation skills, build grammar, or simply connect with Turkish culture.

I am enjoying a lot my lessons with Merve! She is a very kind, patient and calm person, but also a very precise and prepared teacher. She knows how to properly use the digital whiteboard and she writes all of the new words and useful information during the lesson, allowing you to entirely focus on the course instead of hastily writing your notes. On the top of that, she is very available and helpful, as she is always very happy to answer your questions as well as to tailor the course to your needs and preferences. Warmly recommended - you won't go wrong with her!
