Hello. 你好。My name is Jiao Meng. You could call me 孟老师，Miss Meng. I am a native Mandarin speaker. I grew up in the very formal Mandarin-speaking city of Harbin, which is located in the northeastern part of China. I have been teaching the Mandarin language for seven years, which includes hundreds of students. As a graduate student of “Teaching Chinese as a Second Language”, I have the experience and skills to be a successful teacher of Mandarin Chinese.
I have taught abroad at the Confucius Institute for four years Confucius Institute located in London, UK. I also taught for two and half years at the International College in Harbin Normal University, China.
I have taught courses for the HSK proficiency test level one to six. While I was teaching at the international college, all my students who were enrolled in HSK6 passed their proficiency exam.
I have also taught International Baccalaureate courses, where I was teaching IB Chinese Standard Level B in Charterhouse School located in London. I have experience teaching GCSE Chinese and have taught Mandarin at primary schools where I was teaching and preparing students for the YCT exam too.
My lessons include HSK1-6, IB Chinese, A-level Chinese, GCSE, YCT, Primary school Mandarin and oral practice. I will teach in an active and interesting way with books, homework, and fun activities.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

MJ was very warm and patient, and equally adept at teaching. You can tell she has a lot of experience doing this. She was able to make the session useful, structured and effective without it feeling like a “lesson”.

Jiao is an excellent teacher who knows how to make learning a difficult language to learn and almost effortless endeavor. During today's lesson the focus of our discussion was on family and education. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to expand their language skills.
