👋 Hi! I'm Luciano, an Italki tutor since 2021.
🎓 I graduated as a Certified English<>Spanish Translator from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, the city where I was born and currently live. My passion for languages led me to pursue this career.
🗣️ Besides English, I’ve also taught myself Italian, German, French, and Portuguese. I love learning new languages and exploring different cultures.
🌍 I really enjoy connecting with people from around the world, sharing our customs, and learning from each other.
📚 In my free time, I like reading, playing and watching football (soccer), traveling, and spending time with friends.عني كمعلّم
I believe a language shouldn't be learned by memorizing grammar rules and long vocabulary lists. As a tutor, I focus on using conversation about topics that genuinely interest the student. My lessons are based entirely on real language in use — through conversation. We can talk about everyday situations, opinions, Spanish for work or school, or any topic the student finds interesting. If the student prefers, we can also go over grammar doubts and learn useful words and expressions. All of this can be done entirely in Spanish, or by switching between Spanish and the languages I speak fluently: English, Portuguese, and Italian.خبرة التدريس

البكالوريوس - National Sworn Translation of EnglishI hold a degree in English<>Spanish Public Translation from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. It’s a university program that focuses on both language mastery and professional translation skills. I was trained in grammar, linguistics, legal and technical translation, and cultural differences between English and Spanish-speaking countries. This degree allows me to work as a certified translator in official and professional settings.

Great teacher who asked a lot of questions and kept the conversation moving. Also, typed out any words that I didn’t understand or couldn’t pronounce which helped a lot. Will be setting up more lessons with him soon!

Another great class, Luciano is very flexible and knowledgeable, and is good at adjusting the lesson to cover whatever topic I want to talk about. I also appreciate that he always takes notes on what we cover during class and sends them to me after the lesson to review later!

Me gustó mucho la primera clase con Luciano :) Es un tutor muy bueno y sabe inglés y alemán, así que pudo entender mis errores y explicarme cómo decirlo de una manera correcta. Además, tiene un carácter tranquilo y paciente, así que pude relajarme fácilmente en la clase. :) Espero tener más clases con él. 🙏🏼😊

Luciano is an incredible teacher, i love our chats. His teaching pattern feels like a conversation in itself, and he provides out-of-class resources/notes that let me review and study on my own time. I love his teaching style and approach.
