I’m a professional Mandarin|English|Shanghainese language teacher who graduated from Hangzhou Normal University. Within more than six years of Mandarin |English|Shanghainese teaching experience. I have taught different levels of students, from ages 10 to 70s. From daily use to business use. Maggie is a very patient and experienced teacher. I had some very specific requests of what I wanted to learn and she was very happy to adapt the class to suit my requirements. Maggie is lovely and has tailored our lessons to what I need - a place to refresh my Chinese fluency and vocabulary ahead of a trip. I'm an ABC, and my Mandarin is really rusty. Maggie's been patient with my poor recollection of phrases, diligently jotting down all the terms that I can't remember or don't know, and assigning them as homework. Our conversations are fluid and casual, and it feels like I'm just chatting with a friend :)
