Hello, I am Derian Chen, my Chinese name is 陈智福 (Chén Zhìfú), and I am 华人 (Huá Rén), which means Chinese ethnicity or descent, regardless of nationality. I was born in Indonesia and raised in a Chinese overseas community. My ancestors came from Fujian province, China.
I have over 5 years of teaching experience, having started my career in high school. I hold both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree, with my Master’s focused on teaching Chinese to foreigners. I am fluent in English, so during the class, when I am explaining grammar and new words, there won’t be a language barrier.عني كمعلّم
as a teacher, I use different techniques and teaching methods. I don't use only one book and or one internet resource, I use different books to give a comprehensive understanding of Chinese language Speaking, listening, reading and writing are essential while learning Chinese. My responsibility is to introduce the characters in visual form, let the student understand from which strokes every character consists, develop listing and writing skills, practicing tones until they start to come naturally. together we will learn Chinese from the very basic structures to advanced. I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s needs, adjusting my teaching style based on their age and goals. I help students with HSK exam preparations, Chinese business communication, daily conversations, travel to China, university preparations, and homework assistance. Great first experience because ask basic fundamental questions in Bahasa Indonesia. The other teachers keep talking too much in English, with typical Indonesian style: patience word by word so slower and they like to have a chat there
The Chinese style is faster (but you may ask to talk slower) , if your goal is to learn Bahasa Indonesia then to logically I recommend to book a lesson now and give it a try.

I have been taking classes with Derian for more than 5 months so far I recommend him for sure if you are looking for serious improvements and value for your money his teaching style is comprehensive which includes reading, listening, speaking and writing tips .
