I live in Gaspésie, a beautiful region of Québec, Canada. French is my native language, but I also speak English, and have been learning Korean for a few years. Having learned a foreign language myself, I understand the challenges, frustrations, and small victories of the learning process.
I’m a curious and multidisciplinary person who isn’t afraid to follow her passions. After working in various fields—communications, project management, tourism, healthcare, and more—I returned to school to earn a certificate in Teaching French as a Second Language. I now teach French full-time to adult learners and truly love this career.عني كمعلّم
My students describe me as a passionate and dynamic teacher—organized, authentic, and open-minded. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes. A very nice second lesson with Julie. I have asked her to help me with my French Grammar and she showed up in spades with a great lesson of material that I sort of knew but really needed to strengthen. She was wonderful in presenting the lesson and then helping me learn and practice the new material. It was exactly what I was looking for, someone to help me polish my french and tighten my understanding of french grammar.
