¡Hola! I’m Yohan, a DELE-certified Spanish tutor from Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 with 10 years of experience helping students worldwide master Spanish—from casual chats to exam prep! Languages are my passport: I’ve taught while traveling across 46+ countries, swapping stories and cultural quirks along the way. I have been teaching English and Spanish, both online and in-person, for 7 years. I love teaching students from all over the world, so we can share about our experiences, cultures, and interests. I hold a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education 📜 from the University of Palermo. I use a variety of materials, such as PowerPoints, readings, maps, audios, videos, etc. In this way, my students can develop the 4 modes of communication (listening, speaking, reading writing). I, like my students, I have learned foreign languages, so I know the difficulties that it entails. Thus, in each class, I try to create an interesting and captivating environment. While I provide feedback when appropriate, I generally try to conduct the class as though we are friends having a conversation. I'm currently preparing for the C2 Dele exam. The reason I picked Yohan is because he's a C2 examiner and he's been able to give me lots of feedback through that exact lens. All the exercises we've done have been conducted with that in mind and I have to say that overall, I've really enjoyed my classes so far with Yohan. We're up to 4 classes now and I'll continue until my exam happens. I'm very confident now that I will pass and that confidence has largely come from these classes.

Yohan is a very kind and patient teacher. At the beginning I was a little nervous, but he immediately made me feel at ease. I even tried to introduce myself in Spanish, and he was very encouraging and supportive, which helped me feel more confident. His explanations are clear, and he takes the time to make sure I understand. I’m really looking forward to continuing my lessons with him and improving my Spanish.

Yohan is both a professional and personable Spanish tutor. He takes the time to understand my goals and current proficiency, while challenging me with spontaneous but structured lessons.
