Francesco is an outstanding Italian teacher who makes every lesson feel personal and effective. He lets me choose topics that actually interest me, which keeps every session engaging and relevant. He’s patient, adjusts the speed of the lesson to fit my level and energy that day, and explains mistakes clearly without cutting off the flow of conversation. The result is a learning environment that feels relaxed but still drives real progress — perfect for improving fluency, confidence, and natural expression. I always leave each class feeling sharper and more at ease speaking Italian. Highly recommended for anyone serious about making consistent, meaningful progress.

Francesco is an excellent teacher. He is very thorough with his corrections and his explanations; we have only taken a few lessons, but I feel like I have already learned a lot! Francesco is also very smart and can talk about a wide variety of topics, which is great for anyone with a wide range of interests that wants to practice discussing such topics in Italian. Francesco also has the extremely useful skill of listening deeply and intensely to what the student is saying; as a result, not only does he correct and explain, but also truly engages and facilitates. I would absolutely recommend him as a teacher to anyone interested in improving in Italian!!

Francesco ile İtalyanca derslerimiz enerjik, eğlenceli ve akıcı. Sıfırdan başladım, birkaç ders yaptık ve endişelerim olmasına rağmen hemen motive oldum. Sakin ve sabırlı tutumu, tecrübe, bilgi ve birikimi ile çok iyi bir dil eğitmeni olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Türkçeyi ve İngilizceyi iyi konuşması derslerimizde oldukça yardımcı oluyor. Francesco ile belirlediğimiz hedefe ulaşacağımıza inanıyorum.

Francesco is an excellent professor for those who are at least at an intermediate level or further and want to go beyond lessons that only cover the structure of the language. He stimulates to think critically in italian. He is a highly educated philosopher with whom I am learning not just Italian, but also pondering a lot about the world through a philosophical lens. Through interesting discussions, reading assignments, we discuss different topics from philosophy and science to music, to history and popular culture, emphasizing fluency while at the same time very skillfully interjecting with grammatical corrections, with teaching about idiomatic expressions. I like the emphasis first in fluency and comfort with the language. Moreover, he is someone who is always positive, engaging, interested in different perspectives, and my interactions with him are stimulating both from the sense of learning the italian language as well as thinking in italian about everything around us.
