I'm David. I'm British, but live in the Philippines.
20 years working in ESL. TEFL certified.
I have been teaching online since 2020.
I love teaching pronunciation and having interesting conversations about movies, nature, music and language.
I believe that good pronunciation comes from good listening. In my class, you can expect do listening exercises to help you hear the intricacies of English pronunciation, and then replicate them. Dictation and reading aloud exercises are a key part of my teaching strategy, along with theory-based learning.
Based on feedback from previous students, my classes are interesting and fun! I am very interested in language and so I enjoy discussing the intricacies of word usage, slang, expressions and even a little grammar.
My pronunciation classes consist of theory and application. There are techniques that need to be learned, and so these need to be discussed first of all. We can then move on to listening - hearing the techniques in real-life situations. Finally comes application where you can practice applying these techniques yourself.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

TEFL - ITT International TEFL and TESOL LTD - 2021This 120 hour course taught me specific techniques for teaching all of the skills in language acquisition, as well as other more specialized subects, such as teaching online, business English, and English for academic purposes.
