Hello everyone, my name is Yeji (예지)! I am from South Korea and was born in a city called Busan. I studied communication and journalism in Seoul (서울) and now I live in the United States.
Since I was a university student, I lived and worked in different parts of the world: Brazil, Spain, and the United States. In these different countries, I had a chance to learn Spanish, Portuguese, and English. There is nothing more excited than exploring different cultures, meeting new people. For me teaching language is an opportunity to exercise these passions.
Besides being a teacher, I am also a dedicated mother and a lover of nature, especially the Ocean where I enjoy diving.عني كمعلّم
In 2016, while living in Brazil, I realized how many people were interested in the Korean language, but did not have a good place to learn it. This led me to open my own Korean language school. It was located in the city of Fortaleza. From 2016 to 2021 more than 400 students studied in my school.
During this period I gained extensive experience in planning language classes, preparing didactic material, and teaching Korean for people who never had contact with Korean before. Later on, due to the pandemic, we switched our classes to online which also gave me experience in teaching using online technologies.
Besides Portuguese, I also have experience teaching Korean in English and Spanish.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My classes are adapted to students' needs. If you are a beginner, and never learned Korean before we will first work on the Korean alphabet, and basic grammar while also learning the daily vocabulary.
If you already know some Korean, we will use my personalized didactic material to teach you how to use Korean in daily life.
For those who are already fluent, we are going to speak only in Korean and focus on learning the vocabulary of your specific area of interest (using articles, news, etc.).
During the classes, you will learn not only Korean language but also Korean culture. We will discuss talk about many aspects of the Korean traditions while we learn the vocabulary related to them.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Eu super recomendo as aulas com a Yeji. Já tive outros professores de coreano mas com certeza ela é a melhor! As aulas sempre são dinâmicas e completas. Ela ensina o conteúdo de uma maneira muito eficiente e sempre estudamos gramática aplicada na construção de frases, o que me faz terminar as aulas tendo aprendido várias frases e palavras novas.

I have been studying Korean for a month with Yeji and I can honestly say that I'm satisfied. She knows how break down the language in simple ways that make it easy to learn and remember. All classes have been very exciting and full of interesting details about Korean culture as well. I highly recommend Yeji to anybody interested in Korean.

Yeji does a great job in simplifying the basics of the Korean language. She is patient, encouraging, and I learn well from her ability to relate Korean to many other languages for context. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn Korean.

I knew Yeji teacher for over 1.5 years. She is my favorite teacher in italki. Every time we talk, I feel very relaxed and comfortable. Even though we couldn’t meet frequently, Yeji will always be the most reliable one in my heart. Hope you happy and healthy all the time!! 사랑해요❤️
