Challis is a truly excellent teacher. Above all, he is very cheerful and has a great sense of humor, which helps relieve stress and nervousness, so his lessons are really fun and effective. He is very inquisitive, listens carefully, and corrects mistakes discreetly, without interrupting or stressing you while you are speaking. He uses interactive tools, sharing his desktop, which allows for a precise understanding of every statement. He has a wealth of knowledge about the world and various topics, so he is able to converse on any subject. I've had many teachers, but Challis is the best!

I wanted to learn English because I won the Green Card Diversity Lottery and planned to move to the US to find a job. In my first lesson, I couldn't even say my name. I didn’t speak English at all. But recently, I successfully passed job interviews at a FAANG-level tech company in the US, and now I'm already packing my bags for New York! Challis helped me improve my grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills, and gave me a deeper understanding of American culture. His lessons were always fun and incredibly valuable. I also want to mention that YouTube videos and TV shows weren’t helpful for me at all. The only thing that really worked was conversational English lessons with Challis. I tried other teachers, but their lessons just weren’t as effective.

We’ve been learning English with Challis for nearly two years, and he is an excellent and professional teacher. Both my son Nolan and I take his lessons, and through this experience, we’ve improved our English, gained confidence, and developed a real interest in the language. Challis makes each lesson enjoyable and effective. They’re full of engaging conversations and activities that keep my son focused and motivated. He doesn’t feel like he’s studying—instead, he picks up the language through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Games are used in just the right amount. They make learning fun and help my son speak more fluently and respond more comfortably. These are well balanced with creative tasks like storytelling and speaking practice, which keep him engaged and growing. I really appreciate how Challis listens and gently corrects our mistakes. His warm, helpful feedback gives us confidence and often comes to mind even after the lesson.
