Let's learn Street-Smart Korean! You will be able to learn highly useful Korean to live and survive IN KOREA. Hello everyone! My name is YONGJIN. I was born and grew up in Korea. I speak Korean natively and I have learned English, Japanese and Spanish by heart either through formal educations or extensive travel. Over ten years living, working and traveling oversea. All four languages are tools to help facilitate our learning process. I have a passion for teaching languages and I love helping people learn Korean. I believe I have natural abilities to teach languages that I can communicate very well with people regardless of one's backgrounds.

An experienced Korean tutor in private language schools and classroom teacher in NGOs.
Worked as a volunteer Korean teacher while traveling oversea. Currently, going through a course to be certified. it is called 'Certificate of Korean Language teacher 한국어교원 자격증'
I believe I have a good foundation to build on my teaching career and
I will continue to get better while having lessons with you all.
I will be mostly speaking to you in Korean during the lesson unless you're a beginner. We will discuss the speaking ratio on the first lesson.

Each lesson, You'll be learning conversations in certain places. Imagine, you're actually in that place and you need to speak in Korean to get what you want. Survival Korean!
Interactive communication is the key to improving overall Korean language and it enables you to learn more practical and colloquial Korean.
that being said, I will also cover grammar and usage of Korean.
I will promise you that the lesson will be educational, useful, street-smart, informative and interactive.

용진씨 is such a good teacher. I was really scared to try speaking Korean and after a few lessons with 용진씨 I have improved in speaking and knowing what to say. He has a great knack of helping you feel comfortable and at ease. All the content in our lessons have been really helpful and relevant and it has given me motivation to try to make my own sentences of things we have discussed. 용진씨 speaks such clear English as well that he is easy to understand if I have a question I need him to explain. I really enjoy my lessons with Yongjin. He is fun to talk with and is thorough with his explanation. He is patient and encourages me to continue to practice my pronunciation until I feel comfortable with it. After each lesson, he sends me a summary of what we covered during the lesson. I look forward to my next lesson with Yongjin!!!

Yongjin is a fantastic teacher. I've been studying with him over a year. Really enjoy his passion for culture, language, food, conversation... He understands grammar at a high level and can explain it simply at the same time. He's patient and fun.

Yongjin's conversational style of teaching has helped with listening comprehension quite a lot. I have also learned a lot of interesting vocabulary and colloquial phrases. Friendly, approachable and provides insights into Korean culture! Highly recommended!

Jin speaks excellent English and is very patient. He keeps the lesson fun and engaging. Jin has been teaching me for a few years now and he gives great examples and so much cultural information as well. The lessons are never dull and he has a great sense of humour. I have learnt so much and he has given me such confidence to speak the language.
