Hi, My name is Shyam. I am currently living in India. I am originally from Nepal, however I mostly grew up in India. I love learning languages and how it connects us to the other part of the culture, people and countries. Closely related to languages, I also love Art, Writing and Music which I have been pursuing, and I am also a bit of a tech-savy.عني كمعلّم
I believe I am a friendly person. It's been 5 years teaching now. I didn't start teaching as a tutor, rather as a language partner who loves sharing cultures and learning languages with others. I am mostly self-taught. I see myself as a life-long learner, and I am still learning as I go alongدروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I teach three languages:
For english:
I mostly do conversational lessons, either free talk or topic based.
For Hindi & Nepali:
1. If you're a beginner and don't prefer to use the Hindi Script, we start from basic grammar structures to be able to form sentences quickly.
2. if you start with Hindi script (devnagri), we understand them first, and then move on to the Basic grammar while practicing script alongside.
3. If you're already at a somewhat speaking level, we do conversations, role-plays, and correct mistakes along the way, and study relevant grammar topics.

Terrific class; We make good progress every time and Shyam always challenges me to express myself in Hindi and because of his approach I can feel my conversation ability improving step by step and it is a wonderfully satisfying experience to be improving a little bit every day in this beautiful language. It is almost like miracle to be able to be able to connect on a regular basis with this fabulous teacher who lives so far away. That was quite a relaxing and fun lesson for me. We talked about the Nepali festival.he was a good listener, professional, patient all that are needed as essential characteristics for a good teacher! Having a pleasant learning experience and a good result with him.

I have completed 100+ Nepali lessons with Shyam now. Why? Because he cares and has been a great teacher. When I finally visit Nepal I will be well on my way to understand and communicate with the many good people I look forward to meeting! 😄
