Sherry is an amazing and patient teacher. She makes sure to prepare the material according to student needs and level, takes her time to explain everything until you understand and definitely creates an environment where you feel free to speak, make mistakes and practice your Chinese. I have tried multiple teachers on italki trying to find a teacher that would work for me, but after having a class with Sherry, I never looked for a different teacher again!

I really liked how insightful Sherry's lessons were, especially regarding how radicals form each character and why it is that way through the individual meaning attached to them. This really helps with building intuition about some characters that I hadn't known before.
