Hello! My name is Ahmed Dahshan. I was born and raised in Egypt, where I continue to live and teach today. I teach Modern Standard Arabic, the Qur’an, and the Egyptian dialect, and I’ve been doing so for the past two years. Teaching Arabic is a true passion for me, and I love working with students from all around the world.
Alongside teaching, I study at the Faculty of Commerce, but my real interest has always been linguistics. My lifelong love for languages helps me make my lessons clear, structured, and enjoyable. I speak English well and have basic French, which allows me to support learners from different backgrounds.عني كمعلّم
I am a very patient teacher with solid experience in teaching Arabic. I work with well-known and trusted curricula such as “Al-Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk,” “Lughatunā al-Fuṣḥā,” and “Kallimni ‘Arabi.”
I teach Arabic from complete beginner level all the way to advanced stages.
I also teach grammar, and I place strong emphasis on pronunciation, as well as the fundamentals of reading and writing, to ensure my students build a clear and confident foundation from the very start. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
In my lessons, I focus on making Arabic clear, practical, and enjoyable. I adjust my teaching style to each student’s goals and pace, whether they are beginners or advanced learners. I use trusted materials, real-life examples, and step-by-step explanations to build confidence. My classes combine speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with special focus on pronunciation and natural conversation. Ahmed is a great teacher! He is very calm, patient and knowledgeable. We had a Quran class today where he taught tajweed and corrected all of my mistakes while also explaining the meaning behind what I was reading to help me better connect with the Quran. I highly recommend him. He has a unique approach to solidifying tajweed concepts. If anybody wants to reach a high level in tajweed, while also understand the deep meanings behind the verses, Ahmed is a really good choice!
