Karen Gao

I have been using Karen as Cantonese teacher for my kids for the past few years. She is interactive, attentive, and very fun to learn from. My kids love her and will definitely recommend her to anyone that's interested in learning the Chinese language.

A very good teacher, she teaches a lot a useful words from the very first class. I feel like I can start speaking a little bit after just one class.

This is my first lesson with Karen Laoshi. I had fun talking to her; she would listen to my struggles as a long-term Mandarin learner, and she really tries to understand our goals. I feel very comfortable asking her questions; she really put effort into answering them. Would love to have more discussions with her.

Patient teacher! Has materials prepared to guide you, and the material covers different topics on different levels, so youre sure to slowly study on things you might not have known. Karen is pretty perceptive and accurate in sensing what i need. Its nice working with her!
