Hello, my name is Misaki! I’m from Shizuoka, Japan, and I live near Mt. Fuji 🗻, a region famous for green tea 🍵. I love traveling and enjoy trying local foods and meeting people from different cultures. I studied English and French in Montreal about 10 years ago. I can communicate at a daily conversation level and can explain Japanese grammar in both languages when needed. I am a certified Japanese teacher. I have taught at a Japanese language school before, mainly I have been in charge of the beginner classes. I speak clear, standard Japanese, so beginners can feel comfortable! I create personalized lesson plans based on your goals and level. Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together 😊 I'm sure that you have some goals or dreams that you want to achieve by learning Japanese! Please share them with me! I want to be your biggest supporter! Misaki is a wonderful teacher! I had never taken a Japanese lesson before and she made me feel very comfortable speaking the language. She had a lot of teaching material prepared, and gently corrected me when I made a mistake. Looking forward to the next lesson!

After taking some time away from studying, I have not retained most of what I have learned. Misaki-Sensei was very patient and worked with me through the struggles. Wonderful lesson and will be booking more time. ありがとうございまづ！
