Cristian is everything you’d want in a language teacher- skilled, kind, patient, supportive, and fun! With so many great teachers on italki, it was hard to choose at first, but I’m so glad I stuck with him. We’ve been working together for 6 months, and he’s truly the best. He creates a comfortable learning space where questions are always welcome. His lessons strike the perfect balance of structure (often around helpful themes) and also flexibility based on my needs and interests. He uses a variety of engaging materials, and provides short, manageable practice or suggestions between lessons. Cristian is also very organized, and shares materials through an easy to use Google drive. Most importantly, he’s helped me significantly improve my Spanish. I feel more confident in both my comprehension and expression, and continue to make steady progress. If you want a teacher who is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also genuinely cares about your progress, I highly recommend Cristian!

Best Spanish teacher I’ve worked with! Christian is amazing and up leveling my Spanish in ways I didn’t realize could be done. He really understands the phonetics of language, and has helped develop tailor made strategies for me to improve the areas where I struggle or need fine tuning. I’m convinced Cristian has got to be one of the best teachers on Italki. He is so easy to talk to (even in my limited Spanish), and provides a positive learning environment for his students. I leave his calls feeling confident that I can make a lot of progress in Spanish with his help and inspired to learn more. He is very encouraging and also patiently explains grammar/vocabulary when I ask for help. I really appreciate that he takes the time to write new vocabulary down for me as well.
