Hello and welcome! I’m Anastasia, and I’d be delighted to be your English tutor here on iTalki.
My passion for learning languages inspired me to become a teacher, and I enjoy helping others discover the same excitement. I’m easygoing and patient, and I love connecting with people from around the world. Having lived in the USA, Europe, and Asia, I bring this global perspective into my lessons.
I offer lessons in general English, conversation practice, and exam/test preparation, tailored to your goals. My aim is to help you feel confident using English, explore new opportunities, and enjoy the learning process.

I am a professional English teacher with a TEFL certification and a Cambridge C2 certificate. I spent two years teaching in China before moving to online education, which I find even more effective and flexible for both students and teachers.
In my lessons, I encourage students to actively explore the language and its patterns rather than just memorize rules. This discovery-based approach makes learning more engaging and helps new knowledge stick. I am a true language lover and I know how important it is to make the learning process enjoyable and fun to maintain motivation to move forward. My lessons are not only about learning new words and grammar. I like interactive learning, so we're going to play games and make funny stories, discuss recent news, read books and watch videos.

My first lesson with her was on April 3, 2022, and since then, I haven’t stopped. I’ve completed around 160 lessons, and from the very beginning, she has been incredibly supportive and kind. Her dedication, patience, and passion make her an exceptional educator. Her influence extends far beyond the classroom, profoundly shaping her students’ futures. Personally, my confidence in English has grown so much that I’ve decided to study in the USA next year. Even though we took the language test beforehand (A2). The teacher was quite rude in terms of continuing the lessons and, to put it mildly, refused to continue teaching. I think that everyone wants to teach someone who knows English at the B2 level, but such students will not go to such a teacher.
The teacher does not answer questions in messages, despite the availability of free slots.
