선 씨 is a fabulous instructor! Her teaching style is both playful and effective. You can tell she cares about my success and confidence with Korean as well as my learning experience. The lessons have been tailored to my skills and weaknesses. I’m lucky to have found her as an instructor. My Korean has improved so much since I began lessons with her, especially my speaking, which I really needed help with as I’d primarily been self-studying before.

Sun is the best! Originally I was very nervous about speaking Korean, but Sun is so friendly, encouraging, and patient. Our classes are so much fun and I've grown more comfortable speaking. I've been taking lessons for about eight months now and have learned so much! Our lessons are the perfect mixture of structured exercises and freer conversation. I also love that she provides notes and homework to review between lessons. So thankful for Sun! I really couldn't ask for a better teacher!

I've been with Sun Teacher for awhile, her classes are always very informative and helpful, and she is really skilled at explaining things in a clear way and providing context for new information. She uses the Notion app to help students keep track of their progress and what they previously learned, which has been incredibly convenient for reviewing between classes. She diversifies the content and topics very well, and teaches a range of vocabulary, natural expressions, and grammar structures in a really fun and engaging way! I've had classes with several different great instructors, but Sun really stands out, would highly recommend!

Stop looking at other people's profiles and just book her!!!!! She's the best. I'm very picky, I must have had 10 demo lessons from other teachers before I met Sun. She's very organized, thoughtful, and carefully plans out materials, and ensure you get a lot of time to practice, and takes her time to correct any mistakes (thoroughly) that you make. I've attended a lot of Hagwons, University courses for Korean so I know she's the real deal! Hesitant to write this review because I don't want all of her slots to fill up but I think she deserves it. Thank you Sun!!

It's almost been two years since I started studying with Sun쌤 and I couldn't ask for a better teacher for my Korean language learning journey. With her guidance, I've grown more confident and relaxed in speaking Korean, increased my vocabulary, learned how to express myself more naturally with different grammar points, and improved my active listening skills. Sun썜 makes learning Korean approachable and fun. She's incredibly patient, funny, and a great conversationalist. She's also supportive and is cheering her students on--in learning Korean and in life. The design of her classes ensures that you are not learning in a siloed manner. Through natural conversation, you're able to speak a lot, and Sun쌤 challenges you (in a non-scary way) to bring together all of the knowledge you've acquired during her classes and apply it to form more complex sentence structures that accurately express what you want to say in Korean. Classes with her are such a highlight! 감사합니다!

Truly one of the best Korean teachers on italki! Class with Sun쌤 is one of the highlights of my week. I know she works hard behind the scenes (before, during, and after class), but her teaching style seems so effortless because she is able to include grammar and vocabulary naturally through lively conversation. She's genuinely interested in her students' lives and incorporates their interests in conversation and grammar practice. Time always flies by during our lessons because of her engaging teaching, which is oftentimes filled with laughter and smiles. I continue to feel grateful to be able to learn with Sun! 감사합니다!
