¡Hola! I’m Mafer, an Applied Linguistics specialist and English teacher in Spain. I make learning fun and practical for all ages and levels, blending real-world insights and storytelling. Let’s break language barriers together! ¡Hola! Me llamo Mafer, y soy lingüísta aplicada y profesora de inglés en España. Me gusta hacer el aprendizaje de inglés divertido y práctico para todas las edades y niveles, mezclando puntos de vista de la vida real con historias. ¡Rompamos la barrera lingüística juntos y aprende mucho inglés conmigo! I’m a dedicated and patient language teacher who truly enjoys helping students grow in their confidence and fluency. My approach is adaptable, engaging, and student-focused — I believe that every learner has their own rhythm and needs, and I work to create lessons that reflect that. I combine clear explanations with practical activities, always aiming to make my classes dynamic and enjoyable. Whether it’s grammar, vocabulary, speaking or listening, I use a variety of tools like games, videos, slides, and online exercises to keep students motivated and involved. Above all, I strive to create a safe and friendly environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and using the language in real-life contexts.

I’ve been taking English lessons with Mafer for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first day, she has been incredibly welcoming and always shows up with a great, positive attitude that makes the classes very enjoyable.
