A philology graduate, skilled translator with teaching experience in Bulgarian and Greek My background knowledge in linguistics has always been my support tool in understanding better the process of learning a foreign language. I have a bachelor's degree in Modern greek philology and i have participated in different international language programs.

As a PhD student in Bulgarian literature, I am interested in Bulgarian literature and cinema from the period of Socialism (1944-1989) and I believe that these topics would help my students not only in learning the language itself, but also in getting to know Bulgaria, its history and culture. I am patient and consistent in my work so it would be a pleasure to teach Bulgarian language even to complete beginners.

PhD in Applied Linguistics; +15 years of language teaching experience at university level I have been teaching German and Italian for over 15 years at a prestigious Canadian University as well as at a local language school. I have experience teaching all levels and age groups, both in-person and online.

Growing up I always had to translate a lot because I spoke 3 languages. I also have been teaching some of the languages to friends, and took foreign language classes as well in order to learn how to teach. Also being part of a french-japanese association, I met a lot of language learners, and being born trilingual I can see notice some things that monolingual natives may not notice. I am now a student in a language university in Japan and also studied one year in a French university in order to learn more about languages.

My other interests include traveling, culture, fitness, nutrition, history, geography, and geopolitics. Oh, and I love Eurovision! And I have a cute cat.
