Ich achte darauf, meinen Teilnehmer*innen die Zeit zu geben, die sie brauchen und den Unterricht mit Humor und Kreativität zu gestalten. Gleichzeitig liegt mein Fokus darauf, die deutsche Sprache mit Präzision und Klarheit zu vermitteln. My lessons are goal-oriented and have a clear structure. It is very important to me to tailor the content to the students´ wishes. I make sure to give my students the time they need and I also use humor and creativity to activate learning. At the same time, I take great care to communicate clearly and concisely.

German teacher with around a decade of experience and about 6000 lessons with 800+ students. German obviously is my native language, and I basically have a whole life of experience speaking English at work or privately. Russian is my 3rd strongest language, and although I have no certificates confirming that, I can teach you that language up to a pretty high level, as you can see from my intro video. Besides that, I am also very interested and knowledgeable in the field of linguistics and I can help you with pronunciation and accents on a semi-professional level by applying things like the IPA, speech training and logopedic practices. Having said that, I do not specialize in teaching children and I very much recommend looking for a teacher that is experienced in that field.

Das Ziel meiner Unterrichtsstunden ist, dass ihr mit Spaß eine neue Sprache erlernt und bereits vorhandenes Wissen vertieft.

Professionell Deutsch lernen mit Spaß und Struktur! Ich habe Phonetik, Linguistik und Psychologie studiert und meine Doktorarbeit über die Kognition von Sprache geschrieben. Ich unterrichte seit vielen Jahren im Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht, in Präsenz und online. Ich habe auch die Qualifikation als telc-Prüferin (B1-C2) und bereite Schüler erfolgreich auf Goethe-Prüfungen vor. I am a qualified examiner for the German telc certificate (B1-C2) but I am also experienced in preparing students for the Goethe exam.

As a journalist I am used to talking with people I´ve never met before, and being a passionate language learner myself, I know what it´s like to struggle to speak a foreign language. Learning a new language is pretty cool and almost like getting a superpower. But I know from experience how scary it can sometimes be to talk in a foreign language. More often than not, people give up because they don't want to embarrass themselves by making a mistake. Which is a shame. Because mistakes are great. They show us where we can still improve. So, I'm here to tell you to never give up! It's worth to put in some effort even if it means to stumble along the way. Over time, you'll appreciate how far you've come.

Während meines Studiums in Russland habe mehrmals Praktika in staatlichen Schulen und in einem Kinderferienlager absolviert. Nebenan habe ich einige Jahre in Sprachschulen und als Privatlehrerin gearbeitet. Ich habe viele Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Altersgruppen gesammelt. Heute studiere ich an der LMU in München an der Fakultät für Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften im Studiengang Deutsch als Fremdsprache, um meine Kenntnisse im Lehrbereich weiter zu vertiefen.
