Ich rege Gespräche an, indem ich meine Schüler viele Fragen stellen, um zu herauszufinden, wofür sie sich interessieren, was ihre Stärke und Schwäche sind, wie sie am liebsten mit lernen, usw. Von Typ her bin ich äußerst neugierig und höre meinen Schülern sehr genau und mit viel Geduld zu. Wenn man das eigene Lebensgeschichte erzählen kann, kann man auch wohl sehr gut Deutsch reden, weshalb ich ermutige meine Schüler soviel wie möglich von sich selbst zu sagen, wahr oder gelogen.

Even when I was at school, I tutored younger pupils and really enjoyed teaching them new things. During my year abroad in France, I became very interested in teaching and learned what it's like to stand in front of a class. I also realised how important it is to not only learn a language theoretically, but that you improve most by speaking it! This is how I significantly improved my French. Now I don't want to give up my love of languages, but want to help others learn and use my native language!

In dieser Arbeit ist es mir wichtig, jedes Kind dort abzuholen, wo es steht, realistische Ziele zu entwickeln, Stärken zu entdecken und Lernblockaden zu überwinden.

Eigentlich hat sich das Gefühl für die richtige Grammatik erst dann eingestellt, als ich schon einigermaßen gut Englisch/Griechisch sprechen konnte. Auch war ich nie eine ehrgeizige Paukerin. Für mich war immer der Spaß am Lernen im Vordergrund. Unterricht sollte heiter und entspannt sein und genau so möchte ich meine Lehreinheiten anbieten und gestalten.
