I'm your informal teacher here to help you learn and improve the italian language Tell me about yourself and we will try to create together the best language learning plan based on your goals. I will structure the lessons so that they are suitable for your starting level or previous knowledge of the language. If you are interested, we can also explore elements of Italian culture together! We can deal with topics such as food, Italian recipes, cinema, music, art and what intrigues you most about Italy.

Learning a language is an adventure, but learning Italian is THE adventure. ✨🌱 In my experience, the method that has helped me most in learning new languages has been holding conversations on topics of interest to me. In addition, tools such as songs, texts, articles, movies, TV series are very effective for beginning to approach a new language. Teaching Italian to different people, I have noticed that a main element is enthusiasm in discovering things that one does not know. That is why I always try to hold interesting conversations and make sure to create a nice environment. While learning Italian you can discover the culture and this country through texts etc.

La preparazione delle lezioni per me è una fase fondamentale: cerco sempre di trovare argomenti interessanti e stimolanti e modi di usare questi materiali che siano adatti ai bisogni specifici dei miei studenti.

Mi piace parlare della vita di ogni giorno; è un ottimo spunto per agganciarsi ad altri argomenti. Credo che destreggiarsi nella conversazione sia lo scopo di quasi tutti quelli che desiderano imparare una lingua straniera. Leggere ad alta voce aiuta molto a migliorare la pronuncia e a me piace molto ascoltare.

I took my DITALS (Italian Teaching certificate) in 2012, and started teaching English privately at the same time. I taught Business English in Florence for two years, then I moved to Sicily where I currently teach English to children, teenagers and adults. Moreover, I think that being able to read and comprehend a text can be very useful if you want to travel to Italy. I don't focus on grammar (even if the grammar is always present when we talk and read)but I can help in case of doubts.

I started teaching at the age of 16 in linguistic centres in Italy, I would teach English and American pronunciation, and I continue to teach to this day. Throughout my career, I've handled all age groups, from toddlers to 70+ students, and all sorts of contexts, from 1-2-1 business English lessons to full classrooms in public schools.
