I just finished my first package with Ammar and am booking another one right away. Our weekly hour together is flying by, and I'm making slow but steady progress. As an experienced language learner and teacher, I can absolutely say that Ammar is a great choice for your next/first Malaysian tutor.

This is my child's 2nd lesson with Teacher Yuwanes, and my child was already speaking plenty of full sentences in Malay. My husband and I are pleasantly surprised at her speed of learning. Teacher Yuwanes is very engaging and encouraging, she is also super flexible in class scheduling. Glad that I have signed up for 10 x 1 hour lessons for my child.

Inilah kelas yang kelimabelas atau keenambelas dengan Yusri. Tak boleh mengeluh kerana gaya mengajarnya sangat sesuai untuk pelajar macam saya. Dia hampir cakap sepanjang kelas dalam Bahasa Melayu dan menggunakan hanya sedikit Bahasa Inggeris. Yusri juga memberi saya pelbagai kerja rumah dan topik, supaya saya selalu minat dan bermotivasi. I've had fifteen or sixteen classes with Yusri so far. I have no complaints because his teaching style is very suitable for a learner like me. He also gives various types of homework and topics, so I always feel challenged and never lose interest. Yusri almost never uses English, which is good for getting used to the language.

Dr Termizi is an unusually gifted teacher, being able to teach three very different languages, Malay, Thai and Cambodian. He is tutoring me in Malay. I have already been learning Indonesian for 4 years with Indonesian tutors and was curious about the differences between Indonesian and Malay. Dr Termizi has been an excellent guide in this regard, and his own passionate interest in languages brings an extra luster to our interactions. It’s very interesting having conversation classes with someone who is sophisticated and cosmopolitan, he brings layers of experience that others may not possess.

My two boys aged 7 and 11, have been having regular lessons with Dr. Sulia for the last 6 months or so. She is very organised and tailors the lessons specifically for each child and their level/aptitude. My older boy especially loves his lessons and looks forward to each one. He transitioned easily from half-hour lessons to a full hour each week. My younger boy isn't as keen but Sulia makes an effort to find out his interests to see how she can make the lessons more appealing for him. Will highly recommend Sulia to anyone looking to learn Malay!

Adlan is a teacher I would highly recommend to anyone regardless of their language level. He is always well-prepared, provides as many details as you wish, his English is great (if you need it like me sometimes), and he is very pleasant and fun to interact with. I have been taking classes on iTalki since 2019 and I am always looking forward to a class with Adlan although it may be late, I may be busy with something else, etc. -- the lesson with him always makes me happy and I know that I have learnt a lot at the same time too.

Izzah is a great conversationalist, I learned a lot of words that I did not know before. Chatting with her helped me grow my confidence in my speaking ability. Thank you Cikgu Izzah!

Another lively conversation with Haniza in which we naturally meander from topic to topic spanning from the work issue of the day to crypto investing. Haniza never fails to keep the conversation intriguing while teaching new words and expressions. Always a pleasure to converse with Haniza. Terima kasih.

I have been learning Malay from Ayuni and it has been a great experience. Ayuni has an incredible gift for teaching. She provides a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities. She is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of effort into how she presents the material. Her lessons were engaging, useful, and encouraging. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Bahasa Malaysia.
