I am in the final stage of my degree in English Language, and I have been teaching English for five years. I am also a Brazilian literature teacher, a writer, and an editor. My experience in these areas greatly contributes to my decision to also teach Portuguese as a foreign language. Estou na reta final na licenciatura em Letras-Inglês e ensino inglês há 5 anos. Brazilian Portuguese and English teacher, aspiring polyglot and occasional poet I have a teaching degree from University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where I studied Portuguese. I also have a degree in English teaching and the CELTA Certificate by University of Cambridge. I've been learning English since I was 11, and teaching it since I was 16. I spent 5 months in Germany in 2017 and this experience abroad made me develop great intercultural skills - I love meeting students from all over the world and not just teaching them, but learning so much from them at the same time. Throughout my career, I have taught kids, teenagers and adults, in English schools and at the university. Since 2020, I've been working exclusively with private online classes to adults (16+).

I have been teaching languages since 2002, both online and in person, in private lessons and group classes at language schools in Brazil. Since moving abroad, I’ve continued teaching students from different countries online. Teaching Portuguese is especially meaningful to me: language is not only about words, but also culture, social cues, and connection. Sharing this with students makes every class unique and rewarding.
