Highly experienced professional teacher and Fulbright scholar with an M.A. in Literature I have been teaching languages for over 7 years, and I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with a wide range of students: from 4-year-old children to university students. I have worked with low-income populations in Brazilian state schools, but I also have a lot of one-on-one experience under my belt, both online and face-to-face. In 2017, I set up a conversation club at my university. Native and non-native speakers got together on a weekly basis to discuss a variety of topics — from our routines to global warming, from Taylor Swift songs to short stories. The experience was very rewarding and taught me a lot about how to improve students’ speaking skills.

Soy una persona bastante paciente debido a mi gran empatía. Or just reading about languages and understanding the basic concepts of its grammar. All the languages I've tried to learn were self-taught and italki is a very helpful tool that would have made my life easier. That's why I'm here. In 2022, I taught Portuguese to intermediate students at the university where I studied. I worked on pronunciation and taught culture and grammar to Venezuelans, Syrians and Colombians. I studied English for a year and a half and now I'm trying Spanish. I am also in the last year of philosophy. Education has always been important to me.
