It's easy to explain grammar or word meaning. What's more challenging (and a real beauty of my job) is finding a way to explain it to individual people in a way they can understand. Some students want to learn a language but are really uncomfortable with terms like noun, adjective, conjugation, or declination. Others are nervous because it's their first time learning anything online. Some believe they are too old to learn and think that all is lost. Each of them gets a special approach from me. I ask a lot of questions and wait patiently until you answer - after that I provide grammar and pronunciation corrections and suggest different words you could have used and type it all in the document. You can access it anytime, add your own words or translations and do your homework there, it's like a virtual notebook.
