Where I live most people speak Tz'utujil at home and Spanish out of the house. The Guatemalan Spanish accent is very clear, neutral and has a pleasing cadence. It is slower, deliberate and we pronounce all the letters, which is a kinder transition for beginners and a more universal foundation around the world.
