In this trial lesson, students can expect to learn basic English for daily communication. We will practice simple vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence building in a friendly and supportive environment. Students will also practice answering simple questions and expressing their ideas using easy English.

This class is suitable for kids, teens, and adult beginners who want to start learning English or improve their basic communication skills.

The lesson is not limited to one textbook. I use a variety of trusted ESL materials depending on the student's level and learning style, including Power Up, Everybody Up, Raz, Engoo materials, and other beginner-friendly resources. I may also include simple activities, pictures, and guided conversations to make learning easier and more enjoyable.

The main focus of the lesson is to build confidence in speaking English, learn new words, and practice using them in simple sentences. Students will be guided step by step so they can speak more naturally and feel comfortable using English.

You’re welcome to propose your preferred format for our conversations. For example, you can tell me a story. It doesn’t need to be a true story, nor grammatically perfect. Alternatively, if you prefer a two-way interaction, we can engage in role-playing or have a discussion. You can also ask me questions, and I’ll answer, giving you a chance to practice your listening skills.

No matter the format you choose, my teaching style prioritizes your flow of thought. I won’t interrupt you while you’re speaking. In role-play scenarios, I’ll stay in character and let the conversation progress naturally. While you talk, I’ll take notes. Once you’re finished, I’ll provide constructive feedback.

Even if it takes you extra time to form a single English sentence, I’ll patiently wait without jumping in to complete it for you. Instead, I’ll encourage you to work through it at your own pace. Over time, this practice will help you become faster and more confident in forming sentences.

In this 4-lesson guided reading course, we'll work through Jack London's short story To Build a Fire together, one section at a time.

Unlike an independent reading course, you won't be expected to navigate the entire story on your own. Each lesson provides guided support with vocabulary, comprehension, close reading, and literary interpretation, followed by discussion.

The goal is not simply to understand what happens. It's to help you become more confident reading, analyzing, and discussing authentic English literature.

The lesson documents, including the text, will be provided, so you can focus on reading and discussion without needing to find or purchase additional materials.

Set in the frozen Yukon wilderness, To Build a Fire is a story about survival, judgment, and the limits of human confidence. As a man's journey becomes increasingly dangerous, we'll explore one central question together: What happens when confidence meets the unforgiving forces of nature?

In this 8-lesson independent reading course, we’ll read Agatha Christie’s classic mystery The ABC Murders.

Before each lesson, you’ll read 3–6 short chapters and receive a lesson document containing 12–18 questions. Most questions focus directly on the text, with occasional discussion of Christie’s writing techniques, your opinions, and your interpretations.

Please note: This is a structured reading and discussion course. You are expected to complete the assigned reading and prepare your answers and ideas before each lesson. You are also responsible for obtaining your own copy of the book.

This course is ideal if you enjoy mystery and detective fiction, want to read a complete novel in English, and enjoy discussing what you read. It’s also a good choice if you want to develop your reading and speaking skills through an engaging story.
