I'm both concerned and pleasant at the same time that I start to see my lack of English skills. I passed some exams in my country, was regarded as a well user of English between my friends, and overestimated myself a lot. However, when I tried to fully immerse myself into English, it became tough. I talk to ChatGPT and found that I'm confused about usage of English all the time, I read novels and find the words and even the grammar used in literature context are too difficult, I watch everyday English videos not for English learning on YouTube and find that I can rarely understand them without guessing from time to time. I speak and find my pronunciation sucks, which is annoying but also makes me desired to challenge myself. I believe that, I would be a legend, even though not considered so by others😂. I would never surrender, like Churchill or Zelenski cheering their people.

We chase breakthrough moments—those intense bursts of effort that feel epic. But life isn’t a movie montage. Progress is made in the quiet, boring, often uncelebrated space between dramatic highs. That’s where the magic is. Imagine this: A teenager in Panipat shows up every morning at 5 a.m. to train, throwing a javelin against the rising sun. Years later, Neeraj Chopra stands on the Olympic podium, gold around his neck. The crowd sees the medal—they don’t see the sleepy mornings, the sore muscles, the lonely days of doubt. J.K. Rowling sat in a crowded Edinburgh café with her baby napping beside her, scribbling out the first chapters of Harry Potter. No applause. No promises. Just a deep belief that her story mattered, even if nobody else saw it yet. Sundar Pichai didn’t own a personal computer growing up in Chennai. Still, he studied. He persisted. The world didn’t cheer when he stayed up late solving problems. But that diligence led him from humble beginnings to leading Google. They didn’t sprint once, they walked every single day. If you’re grinding right now, silently and steadily: You’re doing it right. Don’t wait for the big breakthrough. Show up. Because every day you do is a quiet rebellion against mediocrity.
