This conversational lesson is going to be very dynamic and packed with speaking activities. We tend to have a lot of breakout rooms so students can have several one-to-one conversations with other students. We're going to talk about making excuses and situations where this might be relevant. We'll also role-play situations where an excuse is appropriate.

-learn to describe situations that might require an excuse -learn vocabulary related to everyday problems/complications -learn to speak about difficult situations and the right action to take -learn to make excuses -learn to respond to excuses -practice the past continuous and the past simple to describe past situations/actions -share personal experiences that required an excuse (our experience or someone else's experience)

I discovered teaching when I was 23 years old and I've been doing it for more than ten years. I've taught in Asia, the Middle East, America, and Europe. My passion is contagious and it creates an electric and dynamic atmosphere. I believe that we should train the mind to go further and learning a new language is a great way to do this.
