This class is intended for anyone who is planning on taking their IELTS test in the near future. The class will be fully interactive with a PowerPoint slideshow that will give you some useful hints and tips on essay planning, structure, and execution. The lesson will introduce you to the different types of questions for Task 1 and 2 essays, instruct you on how to plan and write your essays, as well as some 'dos and don'ts' for when you are in the exam. Sample questions are used for both Tasks 1 and 2 and a step-by-step guide will be given on how these questions are answered. Finally, you will be presented with a sample essay for each of the tasks and a breakdown and explanation of the different sections of the essays. Interaction with other class members, and myself as the teacher, is encouraged and welcomed!

By the end of the lesson, you will know all of the different question styles, be able to effectively plan, structure, and then write your essay in the most effective way by utilising the excellent techniques that you will have learned throughout the session.
