Descripción de la clase

In this upper-intermediate Business & General English group lesson, students focus on improving accuracy and clarity by mastering English words that are commonly confused in speaking and writing. The lesson covers high-frequency problem areas such as less vs. fewer, among vs. between, who vs. whom, commonly confused nouns (e.g., price/prize, desert/dessert), and verbs that differ by meaning, form, or transitivity (lay/lie, borrow/lend, rise/raise). Through structured exercises, guided correction, and pair discussion, learners build a deeper understanding of meaning, usage, pronunciation, and grammatical structure, helping them avoid common mistakes that can reduce clarity and professionalism—especially in work and academic contexts. The guided group discussion activities will allow the student to practice their speaking in order to enhance their fluency and listening skills by interacting with learners from all over the world. Level: Upper-Intermediate (B2–C1) Focus: Vocabulary precision, grammar accuracy, confident usage, speaking and fluency, accent reduction
