In this episode we are going to learn 【Numbers 】in Chinese.

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
1st time: listen and catch the words you know alreay, have a guess about the content.
2nd time: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
3rd time: listen one more time, repeat after it.
4th time: practise until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

昨天我打电话叫了外卖。
zuó tiān wǒ dǎ diàn huà jiào le wài mài 。
I called for takeaway yesterday.
我买了一个汉堡、一盒薯条和两瓶可乐。
wǒ mǎi le yí gè hàn bǎo 、 yì hé shǔ tiáo hé liǎng píng kě lè 。
I bought a hamburger, a box of fries and two bottles of Coke.
汉堡一个24块钱。
hàn bǎo yí gè èr shí sì kuài qián 。
A burger is 24 RMB.
薯条一盒18块钱。
shǔ tiáo yì hé shí bā kuài qián 。
A box of fries is 18RMB.
可乐一瓶两块五。
kě lè yì píng liǎng kuài wǔ 。
A bottle of Coke is 2.5 RMB.
一共多少钱？
yí gòng duō shǎo qián ？
How much in total?
一共是47块钱。
yí gòng shì sì shí qī kuài qián 。
47 RMB in total.
这家店的东西很好吃。
zhè jiā diàn de dōng xī hěn hǎo chī 。
The food in this store is delicious.
他们的电话是8692-4531。
tā men de diàn huà shì bā liù jiǔ èr-sì wǔ sān yī。

Planning has begun on a new, car-free town which the authorities plan to locate on waste ground, close to the Condolanda power plant. It will consist of houses, parks and public transport facilities, as well as public buildings such as a police station, a secondary school, town hall, etc. There will be commercial buildings including a shopping mall, office blocks, retail stores and a medical centre. There will also be a large area of modem apartment blocks, and residents will welcome the addition of a nearby leisure centre. The heating for all the buildings will come at low cost from the power plant.

こんにちは！
Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を楽しく勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。


今、ぼくは飛行機の乗り継ぎの途中です。シンガポールのチャンギ空港にいます。

乗り継ぎーlayover, transfer 

大阪からチャンギ空港まで、6時間ぐらいで着きました。

今回は乗り継ぎの時間が1日ぐらいあきます。
ですので、空港と空港の近くで過ごす予定です。

関西空港で荷物を預ける時、アメリカ人のご夫婦に声をかけられました。チェックインの列はここであってるかを聞かれたので、あってますよ、と伝えました。

^_^そこからチェックインのカウンターに進むまでの間、いろんな話をしました。もちろん英語で笑
ぼくは半分ぐらいは分かりましたが、ぼくの妻は80%ぐらいは理解して話していました。

わからないところもありましたが、日本のすばらしいことや、旅行の楽しさについて話をしました。

とても良い時間でした。



日本人どうしではこうやって見知らぬ人と会話が広がることはなかなかありません。

旅行はこういうことがあるので、楽しいなと思います。

実はこの夫婦にはこのあとも飛行機の中で会いました。
席もとても近い席でした。

飛行機を降りた後も、少し離れた場所のトイレでも会いました。

会うたびにまた会ったね！と笑顔で会話の続きをしました。


このご夫婦は70代の方でしたが、とても若くてお元気で、とてもパワーをもらいました。

自分もいくつになっても、何歳になっても、旅をできる人生を送りたいなと思いました。
