专心致志[zhuān xīn zhì zhì]：focus on/heart/devote/heart；
to devote oneself heart and soul to or to give complete attention to 
eg：她专心致志地学习中文 tā zhuān xīn zhì zhì de xuéxí hànyǔ。
        爸爸专心致志地看报纸 bàba zhuān xīn zhì zhì de kàn bàozhǐ 。
鲁国 lǔ guó：Lu state in the Spring and Autumn period in Chinese history.
弈秋 yì qiū：The name of a person
围棋 wéi qí：Go;Chinese draught
高手 gāo shǒu：Past master master-hand ace
徒弟 tú dì：apprentice;disciple;pupil
棋艺 qí yì：skill
大雁 dà yàn：wild goose
丝毫 sī háo：a bit;in the least

In this episode, I’ll help you understand the difference between three Chinese words that are all related to "life": “生命”, “生活”, and “一生“. Learn how they differ in meaning and usage!

“生命”“生活”“一生”：All Mean Life?

Leonard: I couldn't agree more!
Alisha: Wait, you don't agree with me?
L: No, I said, I couldn't agree more. That means I completely agree with you.
A: What? Then why did you say you couldn't agree with me!

I think we can all relate with Alisha. There are so many indirect ways of saying something so simple and direct. We use such structures to add nuance to our meaning!

But it 'can' be confusing for a language learner.

In this series on the Confusing Structures in the English Language, we will discuss these very structures so that the next time Leonard says 'he couldn't agree more,' or 'he couldn't care less' or some such phrase, you'd know exactly what he is saying.
