Regras básicas e super importantes

Oxítonas: acentuam-se as oxítonas terminadas em:

Á(s): aliás, Canadá , sofá , maracujá , olá …

É(s)Ê(s): José, rodapé, Português, vocês…

Ó(s)Ô(s): Avós, bisavô, robô, forró, paletó …

Em/Ens: porém, parabéns, ninguém, bebês…

Paroxítonas: acentuam-se as terminadas em:

Ã(s), ÃO(s): ímã, órfão, sótão…

I(s): lápis, tênis, júri…

US: vírus, bônus, Vênus…

UM/UNS: álbuns, fórum…

R: açúcar, repórter, zíper…

X: fênix, cóccix, látex…

PS: bíceps, tríceps, quadríceps…

Palavras terminadas em ditongo (duas vogais na mesma sílaba): água, secretário, régua… Atenção, nenhuma palavra terminada em “mente” ou “zinho” recebe acento…

Proparoxítonas: acentuam-se se todas as proparoxítonas: Fenômeno, síndrome, ângulo, partícula, acadêmico, acústica, análise, antídoto, brócolis, código, círculo, característica, músculo, político…

Monossílabos tônicos: acentuam-se os terminados em:

A(s) – E(s) – O(s) : pá, chá, lá, lê, pé, ré, dó, pôs, nó…
