Although I'm from the UK, I lived in China for 15 years, teach a large number of Chinese students, and even have a Chinese girlfriend. In this episode, I share some of my thoughts on the main differences I've noticed between the two cultures. These affect the way we approach education, the way we interact with our friends, and even how we eat our food and choose what to wear.

Edgar a fait un bon de trop, il a cassé la glace et est tombé à l'eau. Il gigote, patauge, mais ça ne sert à rien, il ne sait pas nager. Pauvre Edgar! Il coule dans l'eau glacée. Jeannot, voyant que son ami tarde à remonter, se met aussitôt à crier.
Bien vite, tous les habitants du petit bois arrivent avec des cordes et des filets. Edgar est repêché, mais il est tout gelé!
Que faire ? Allumer un grand feu, pardi! 
Aussitôt dit, aussitôt fait. Peu à peu, la glace se met à fondre en libérant Edgar d'un sommeil forcé.

Remember, English is made from the back of your throat, but 한글 is mainly made from your mouth.
The sound comes from the front.
In other words, you use entirely different muscles when you talk.
So you have to practice it over and over again to become natural.

In Korean, the shape of the lips of the vowels should be correct,
And you have to understand the difference between the pronunciation of consonants in the initial consonants and consonants in the final consonants.

The basics are the most important.
Before reading Korean sentences with Korean grammar in Korean conversation sentences.
Read the basic pronunciation over and over again.
