Many people are obsessed to have that porcelain skin and even change their nose and have lip fillers. The competition is stiff when it comes to the beauty department. However, is it enough? Is beauty alone enough to sustain a conversation, to win a pageant and to be successful in any field? This podcast aims to answer this question.

こんばんは！Atsushiです。
前回に続き、慣用句かんようくについて話します。

今日は顔を使った慣用句を紹介します。
3つ紹介しますね。

ではいきます。

① 顔を汚す（かおをよごす）
これは、相手に迷惑をかけた時などに使います。
例えば、
今回のミスで、上司の顔を汚してしまった。
彼にせっかく紹介してもらったのに面接に受からなかったので、彼の顔を汚してしまった。
とか、使います。

② 顔を貸す（かおをかす）
これは、頼まれて人に会ったりすることですね。
テレビドラマで、ちょっと顔貸せよ、とか言う時ありますね。今あるのかな？最近全然テレビ見ないのでわかりませんが。以前はよく使ってたと思います。日常生活ではあまり使いません。

③ 顔を売る（かおをうる）
これは、いろんな人に名前を知ってもらおうとする、というような意味です。
彼女は顔を売るのが上手だ、とか
顔を売るのは苦手だ、とか使います。
