Working in Kerala — Part 3: Offices, Tech Parks and Workplace Malayalam | Learn Malayalam #270
Descripción
Most descriptions of Kerala's economy are twenty years out of date. This is the working world you would actually enter.
It starts with an honest picture: a services economy of tourism, healthcare, education, trade and, increasingly, technology, with tech parks in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. Then the workplace vocabulary, much of it English written in Malayalam, and the sentences you will use daily, from working from home to asking for more time. Then the culture: hierarchy shown through address, a warmer line between work and personal life, the shared lunch, the tea break and the office WhatsApp group.
