Descripción
A doing track, not a listening track. You play both parts. Five short everyday dialogues, starting with meeting a relative and ordering at the tea shop. Each one runs through four steps: listen, shadow half a second behind, play one part and answer in the gap, then swap one word and say it all again. That last step turns a memorised string into a pattern you can use, and it's where the learning happens. Each dialogue ends with a full-speed version with no English and no gaps. Words and phrases in this class: സുഖമാണോ? (sukhamaano?) – are you well? സുഖമാണ്, നന്ദി. നിങ്ങൾക്ക്? (sukhamaanu, nandi. ningalkku?) – I'm well, thanks. And you? എനിക്കും സുഖമാണ് (enikkum sukhamaanu) – I'm well too ഇത് എന്റെ അമ്മ ആണ് (ithu ente amma aanu) – this is my mother സന്തോഷം (santhosham) – pleased to meet you എനിക്ക് രണ്ട് ചായ വേണം (enikku randu chaaya venam) – I want two teas പഞ്ചസാര വേണോ? (panchasaara veno?) – do you want sugar? വേണ്ട, നന്ദി (venda, nandi) – no, thanks എത്ര ആയി? (ethra aayi?) – how much does it come to? ഇരുപത് രൂപ (irupathu roopa) – twenty rupees കൂട്ടുകാരൻ (koottukaaran) – friend In this class: • The four-step method: listen, shadow, play a part, swap a word • Meeting a relative, and സന്തോഷം as 'pleased to meet you' • The tea shop, and എത്ര vs എത്ര ആയി • Directions and more everyday exchanges, each ending at full speed Quizzes below.
