Feelings and Impressions That Happen to You: Thonnuka and Friends | Spoken Malayalam #144
Descripción
In English, you are the one who thinks, understands, remembers and gets angry: "I think", "I understand", "I remember". English speakers copy that and say ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കി (njaan manassilaakki) for "I understand", which sounds like a formal report that you worked something out. At home, Malayalam treats many feelings and impressions as things that come to you.
In this episode:
• Thonnuka: it seems to me
• Softening with thonnunnu
• Understanding and remembering
• Enough and fed up
• Anger, shyness and fear
• Language bridge
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
