Hey Guys,  this is Chinese teacher Cara, welcome to my Channel,  you’re listening a B1 lesson.
今天为大家朗读的是一篇短文，题目是：美国人如果应对旅游旺季？
美国有很多出行旺季 peak season。最高峰的季节在十一月底，也就是感恩节期间。十二月底到一月初也有很多人出行。当然了，夏季从六月到八月的学校暑假也是旅行季节。

那么美国人怎么出行呢？短途旅行的话，开车是最常见的选择。如果开车得八小时以上，搭乘飞机则是最常见的方式，边开边玩的公路旅行 road trip 也很受欢迎。

有趣的是，在美国，火车票通常比机票更贵，虽然坐火车比飞机慢得多。比如说，从旧金山到纽约，搭乘飞机只需要不足到六小时，如果选择坐火车或坐汽车，同样的旅程需要超过三天，而且费用比飞机票更贵。
