A: 你食咗未呀?(Did you eat?)
néih sihk jó meih a?(Yale)
nei5 sik6 zo2 mei6 aa3? (Jyutping)
B: 食咗喇。(I did.)
sihk jó la.
sik6 zo2 laa3.
or 仲未食。(I still haven’t.)
juhng meih sihk.
zung6 mei6 sik6.
噉,你呢?(Well, what about you?)
gám, néih nē?
gam2, nei5 ne1?
A:我都食咗。(I also did.)
ngóh dōu sihk jó.
ngo5 dou1 sik6 zo2.
我都仲未食。(I also haven’t eaten.)
ngóh dōu juhng meih sihk.
ngo5 dou1 zung6 mei6 sik6.
Conversation2:
A: 你好嗎?/你點呀?(How are you?)

B:好好。有心。(Good, thanks for your concern.)
